I entered the dogs in a rally trial tomorrow. Actually, there are 2 trials in one day, so Stout is doing both trials & Porter is doing only one.
I'm beginning to freak out though. This will be Stout's first time in Advanced (off-leash!) & Porter's first time in Excellent. A LOT of things have changed since Porter last did rally... those signs are hard now!
I gave myself plenty of time, and we have been practicing, but I foresee some problems. Stout rocks all the signs, his problem will be the off-leash issue.
Porter is just a weirdo. I kind of take for granted all the shaping & clicker work that Stout has done... Porter doesn't understand that very well. So it's been hard to teach a lot of these signs to him. And he just gets frustrated at the lack of food delivery if my schedule is slightly off what he feels he deserves...
Here is Stout doing a little practice.

More Champions :)
Last night we cheered on more Champions: the Ohio State Buckeyes! :)
Never satisfied with just one photo op, I staged some more!
John's family attended the Sugar Bowl vs. Alabama & sent us some props. I mean, mementos.
The Sugar Bowl was presented by Allstate. You know, the Mayhem guy :)
Pure mayhem right here!
His brother also sent us the cool foam helmet! Stout does not think it's that cool...

2014 Was a Pretty Good Year :)
Mary Ann outdid herself with not only certificates for titles earned in 2014, but special wooden ribbons for championships! Oh, and awesome chocolate martinis.
The dual champion: Both a PACH & a PNAC in 2014!
I was kind of surprised when I looked back at Stout's titles for 2014. In my mind, he's still the dorky puppy that runs amok & is still trying to grow a brain.
But I'll be damned if he didn't earn 5 titles.
Two of them were herding titles, and let's not forget those 2 Started legs! The last 6 months have been pretty darn good for him. Well, except for that time in Excellent JWW back in October when he jumped into Diane's lap...
But herding! Stout's thing is obviously herding :)
