Santa Photo Countdown: Christmas Eve!

Here are the photos that didn't quite make the cut for the card this year...

Check back tomorrow for the photos that did make the cut! I'll be posting this year's Christmas cards (yes, plural. How could I do just one?)

Santa Photo Countdown: Day 6

The barking was not just for Santa... We were also treated to a serenade of Christmas carols by Stout!

Porter had a couple verses too.

Finally John had had enough!

Santa Photo Countdown: Day 5

Day 5. I think we could all use a break from the barking. I mean, singing.

So how do we keep Stout quiet?

We shove his mouth full of cookies.

Porter: "Did I hear crunching? Did he get a cookie? Do you want me to start barking?"

Crisis averted - Porter also receives a cookie.

Santa Photo Countdown: Day 4

Day 4 and Stout is still singing...

I think Santa has a headache...

Santa Photo Countdown: Day 3

Ready for the chorus line? This time Porter will help sing the carols!

Never mind, it's still all Stout.

Santa Photo Countdown: Day 2

Yesterday we had a little sassiness from Porter. Today, we have a little singing from Stout!

I like to think that Stout & Santa are singing a particularly joyous (& loud) rendition of "Jingle Bells."

"Jingle bells! Porter smells!"

Santa says - "You know I can hear you being naughty, right? Be nice to your brother!"

"Jingle bells! Santa smells!"

"Tee hee hee!"

"Oh what fun it is to ride..."

"What? I missed a line?"

"In a one horse open sleigh!"

Porter thinks they suck.

Ok, so it's a little "2013-ish," but we only just finished watching the series :) I think it's obvious which on is Walter White & which is Jesse Pinkman...

We stuck with the pop-culture theme & had a better outcome at the Canine Olympics this year than last... a tie for the Bronze medal in the costume contest!

So now that my arm is healed and I'm not teaching 2 nights per week plus taking classes 2 nights per week plus herding once per week, I can hopefully get back into this blog thing! I'll post the rest f the Canine Olympics results next. Let's just say that the Brews Brothers excel at the food sports :)
